The Artistry Behind Handblown Glassware
Each hand-blown glass is crafted with a delicate, thin stem and a lighter feel. The artistry and time involved makes them 5–10 times more expensive to produce than machine-made glasses.

Inspired by Austrian craftsmanship, we created a bowl design that lets wines of any kind fully express their character. The shape is carefully balanced to enhance flavor while still fitting easily into standard dishwashers and cabinets. After many design trials and refinements, our skilled glassmakers craft wooden molds to ensure every Arka glass has the same perfect form.

We use only the finest lead-free crystal, heated to over 1,600 degrees before being carefully blown into the wooden mold. This combination of premium materials and extreme temperatures ensures each Arka glass is strong and shatter-resistant, while still remaining light, thin, and elegant.

The base of each Arka glass is carefully stretched to form the stem. Skilled craftsmanship ensures the stem is as thin and elegant as possible, while still preserving the strength of the glass and keeping the height perfectly consistent.

While one artisan carefully holds the half-formed Arka glass upside down, another adds a fresh drop of molten crystal to the stem. With precision, the first artisan trims just the right amount of material and shapes it into the base, completing the foundation of the glass.

A precise laser is used to shape the rim of the Arka glass. It is then polished on a spinning wheel until the edge is perfectly smooth and flat. Each rim is carefully inspected to ensure it remains incredibly fine and almost weightless to the touch.

Every Arka glass is carefully inspected to ensure it is flawless. Each piece is polished to perfection, and rigorous tests are carried out to guarantee strength and durability—so the glass won’t break unnecessarily.

The Arka logo is delicately etched onto each glass using a precision laser. Finally, the glass is placed in soft protective packaging and carefully prepared for delivery to your home.
